| there are two pressure forces acting on the valve. 1) the pressure in the intake piping before the throttle valve. This is the inlet pipe on the recirc. 2) the vacuum/pressure in the intake manifold after the throttle valve. This is the vacuum line that attaches to the top of the valve. At wide open throttle both of these are essentially the same and since there is a spring force inside the valve, the valve will be closed no matter what the boost pressure is. Now when you let off the throttle, the manifold pressure will drop while the boost pressure remains since the turbos are still spinning. The pressure differential between the two is around 20 psi and this will definitley cause the valves to open. So to answer your question, as long as the hoses are properly attached, they will hold any boost you can put out.
